Jobs are the core of Gaffer. They can be created automatically by customers booking through WhatsApp, or manually by you.
Automatic creation
When a customer books through WhatsApp, Gaffer creates a job automatically with the details: description, date, time, priority, and address.
Manual creation
Tell Gaffer: "Create a job for John Smith — boiler service next Tuesday at 10am". Include as much detail as you like.
Job priorities
- Low — not time-sensitive
- Normal — standard booking
- High — needs attention soon
- Emergency — urgent call-out (burst pipe, gas leak, etc.)
Duplicate prevention
Gaffer detects and prevents duplicate bookings for the same customer on the same date.
