Emergency Call-outs

Accept emergency jobs outside your normal working hours.

Enabling emergencies

During onboarding, Gaffer asks if you accept emergency call-outs. You can also enable it later: "Turn on emergency call-outs" or in Dashboard > Settings.

Emergency call-out fee

Set a separate fee for emergencies: "Set my emergency call-out fee to 150". This is quoted to customers before booking.

What counts as an emergency

Gaffer recognises common emergencies based on context: burst pipes, no heating, power cuts, gas leaks, flooding, etc. These are given emergency priority.

After-hours bookings

If a customer contacts you outside your working hours with an emergency and you have this enabled, Gaffer will offer to book them in with the emergency fee.
