Gaffer is an AI assistant that lives in your WhatsApp. It handles three types of conversations:
Operator conversations (you)
When you message your Gaffer number, it knows it's you (by your phone number). You can ask Gaffer to do things like create invoices, check your calendar, message customers, set reminders, and manage your business. Think of it as a PA that's always available.
Customer conversations
When an existing customer messages your Gaffer number, the AI handles the conversation on your behalf. It can answer questions, book appointments, provide quotes, handle rescheduling, and more — all matching your business's tone and pricing.
New enquiries
When an unknown number messages you, Gaffer treats it as a new enquiry. It qualifies the lead by asking what they need, where they are, and how urgent it is. Once it has their name, it creates a customer record and can book them in.
You stay in control
Gaffer sends you notifications for important events: new enquiries, job bookings that need approval, completed jobs, and more. You can step in at any time by telling Gaffer to message a customer directly.
