How New Enquiries Work

When someone messages your Gaffer number for the first time, Gaffer treats it as a new enquiry.

What happens

  1. Gaffer greets the caller and asks what they need help with
  2. It qualifies the enquiry: what work is needed, where they are, how urgent it is
  3. Once Gaffer knows their name, it creates a customer record automatically
  4. If they're in your service area, Gaffer can offer available slots and book them in
  5. If they're outside your service area, Gaffer politely lets them know

Notifications

You'll see new enquiries in your morning briefing and can ask Gaffer about recent enquiries at any time.

Photos and videos

Customers can send photos of the issue (e.g. a leaking pipe). These are automatically attached to the job. Videos are forwarded directly to you on WhatsApp.
