Your Gaffer phone number is tied to your subscription.
What happens if you cancel
- Your subscription continues until the end of the billing period
- After that, your number stops accepting new messages
- After a grace period, your number is released and may be reassigned
- Your number is not portable — it cannot be transferred to another provider
Resubscribing
If you resubscribe during the grace period, you may be able to keep the same number. After the grace period, you'll be assigned a new number.
Important
Make sure your customers have an alternative way to reach you (your personal number, email, website) in case you ever cancel.
